本書共分三個主要部分。一是理論與策略，三篇論文在相關文獻檢視、歷史經驗、數據分析和策略思考，有專業性見解和思路，對吾人理解FTA的背景、運作有具體分析；第二部分是中韓FTA與RCEP發展。此為當前臺灣面對區域經濟整合較大的挑戰。雖然吾人不乏積極參與之努力，但是來自外在政治的局限，與產業同質性高之韓國FTA參與優勢，以及我方內部協作整合不力、市場保護主義與政治內耗，皆是重大挑戰；第三部分則是東亞區域
