In a long-dreamed-of future, a worldwide consortium of techno-political leaders has imposed peace and prosperity on mankind, a - Pax Moderna, of sorts. But one young man is about to discover that this idyllic world, deceptively engineered to be free of pain and sorrow, is merely a cloak that tenuously obscures an ancient battle between truth and tyranny.
