Overcooked

Start with a little bit of science fantasy a la Michael Crichton. Add a dose of Rod Serling weirdness and stir. You'll get OVERCOOKED, a novel that explores the question: What happens if a baby receives the benefits of three extra months in their mother's womb? For answers, we follow Eldridge Montcalm (El) as he explores "the gifts" that come with his "light bulb head" and "creepy white skin." His extraordinary abilities are put on display one night on a downtown Atlanta street when a cop gets shot, El intervenes and a crowd of cellphones record the entire event. The cellphone video from that night goes viral and a lot of people, including El himself, have questions. Is Eldridge a freak? A savior? The devil? One group wants him muzzled. Hundreds of desperate people need his help. And still another only want to send him back to hell "where the devil's spawn belongs." The human race is soon to take a giant evolutionary leap forward, or backward, depending on whose answer carries the day.
