Trade War with China Concise Edition

This is the concise version of my book "Trade War with China". This book has only about 100 pages (6*9).The book "The 100 Year Marathon" and similar books make you feel better via dumb nationalism. It is good for those who always put the blame on others but not on themselves. The trade deficit is not a Chinese problem but ours. If we do not know our problems, how can we fix them? I propose solutions on how to fix our problems in this book. We are using different standards for different countries to support our policy. The U.S. (which has far lower human rights index than Hong Kong) passed Hong Kong Human Right & Democracy Act. Should China pass a similar act on our citizens shooting at each other? U.S. and China are suffering from the trade war and now the pandemic. We have fewer problems than China. One proof of our freedom is that this book cannot be possibly published in China. Enjoy our freedom here. China has faced SARS and poverty before, so the spirit of the nation is still high compared to us. By cutting our military expenses, we should fix many of our problems at home.Sometimes the news reported by the media needs to be further evaluated. The recent example is Bolivia's uprising. It has to be aided by our government to limit China's access to lithium. Have the media told us the truth? You may not agree with most of my opinions. Do challenge them. We need more thinkers than followers. Human nature is agreeing with the ideas to support their original thinking, and that's why we do not want to listen to the other side of the story.There are pro-Chinese views and also views by Chinese bashers. I hope my book is in the middle. With the daily bombarding by our pro-U.S. media, I hope to present a balance view. I was born in Hong Kong and U.S. is my adopted country. My yellow face 'betrayed' me, but I am proud to be a Chinese American. I am naturally biased. Hence, do not be offended if I go too far to defend China. This trade war and any conflict with China hurt me. Currently, China suffers far worse than us. So far, I have donated all my book profits to charities. My personal welfare is tied with U.S. I have no affiliation with Chinese government and I have not received any compensation from China. This book is dedicated to all the essential workers especially the medical staffs.Many opinions in this book are from many sources. Most sources from the established U.S. and EU media such as BBC, DW and Economist are less biased.There are so many gray areas today that no one can claim s/he is always right. I have nothing against U.S. From the research of this book, I did find out several incidents that harm our image, reputation and our future. I am neutral in politics. I comment against current government as I want them to serve us better. I bet we will have a long trade war with China. China is biting the bullet. The short term does not look good for China but the long term is rosier for China. Investors may be able to profit from the ups and downs of this trade war.The trade war is not beneficial to both China and the U.S. Hence, hopefully there could be a settlement with China satisfying our terms. However, the damages have been done and China will be better preparing for the next trade war with us. The high debts and the pandemic are making the situation worse for China.
