Hieroglyphic Luwian is a variant of the Luwian language belonging to the Anatolian branch of the Indo-European language family from the 17th to 13th century. Although this book could accompany an introductory course, there are few programs designed to teach the history and use of this language so it is designed for beginning students to be able to learn on their own. It contains a history of the language as well as information on grammar and a complete sign list.
