View from the Middle of the Road V ― New Observations

The View from the Middle Series returns as a combination of poems and short stories. Story one is a humorous observation by a young man as his father comes to love to tango. Story two is from a new voice Uruguay, a survivor of domestic violence. The poems pick-up where the last series left off. This time the view has shifted.

R. Xavier Clark was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He grew up in Augusta, Georgia and attended the University of Georgia. After studying abroad he spent a short stint in Miami Florida. He returned to Augusta and started Modern Gutenberg an author marketing service company. He has contributed to several editions of the View series; View From the Middle of the Road Vol. I and IV. Xavier resides in Augusta, Georgia. Silvana Marconi is a native of Montevideo Uruguay. She is an advocate for women’s right and a abuse survivor. Her first book Sobrevivi, I Survived was published in 2018. She is working on a second novel on another woman survivor for U.S. audiences. She resides in Neuvo Paris in Montevideo.

Lucinda Clark is the founder of P.R.A. Publishing and Poetry Matters Project. She has published authors from from the four corners of the word as well as her our work in the View From the Middle of The Road Series. She is a member of the Academy of American Poets, Poets House and IBPA. She resides in Martinez with her husband Robert and two dogs Artemis and Mischu and has two adult children Jeska and Xavier, both contributors of the View Series. Her favorite past times are gardening,travel and tango dancing.
