Carole Ellison began writing poems to her children in the 1970s, when they were reaching the age of reason and as she found myself in the position of becoming a single parent. Kathryn Carole Ellison: Kathryn Carole Ellison is a former newspaper columnist and journalist as well as a poet. You might find her on the golf course with friends, river rafting, at the opera... or writing more poems.
