Ian Miller is a British fantasy illustrator and writer best known for his quirkily etched gothic style and macabre sensibility, and noted for his book and magazine cover and interior illustrations, including covers for books by H. P. Lovecraft and contributions to David Day's Tolkien-inspired compendiums, work for Fighting Fantasy gamebooks (very popular in the 1980s) and various role-playing and wargaming publications, as well as contributions to the Ralph Bakshi filmsWizards and Coolworld. Miller cites amongst his principal artistic influences Albrecht Durer and Leonardo da Vinci, the German Expressionists and French Impressionists, as well as an early predilection for Japanese landscape artists. Miller has exhibited frequently during his career in both solo shows and group exhibitions in Britain and internationally. He graduated from Saint Martin’s School of Art in London.

Allan Curless worked as a political cartoonist for 16 years, working mainly for theSunday Times. His first children's book, Cat's Song with Andrew Matthews, was shortlisted for the Mother Goose Award and the Smarties Prize in 1994. He illustrated the chapter icons for the popular Redwall children’s series by Brian Jacques. Curless passed away in 1997.

Born and raised in Milan, Mauro Mazzara started drawing at the age of twohe still hasn't stopped! He spent his high school years doodling in class, always getting into trouble, until he finally decided to join the Arte & Messaggio Illustration school in Milan. Published in the Annual Illustrators of Children's Books in 2002, Mauro then joined the Brera Art Academy to study painting. He is the co-founder of Totemic Studio and works as a freelance illustrator for the fashion, publishing and advertising industries. His work has been published by Edizioni Playpress, Tridimensional, Nicola Milano Editore, Gaia Edizioni, I Libri di Niccolo and EdiGio. He teaches drawing and painting and has taken part in several solo and collective painting exhibitions. Mauro has received several prizes for his work.
