作者簡介
Robert J. Bunker is a Distinguished Visiting Professor and Minerva Chair at the Strategic Studies Institute, US Army War College. He is also Adjunct Faculty, Department of Politics and Economics, Claremont Graduate University. Past positions include Futurist in Residence, Training and Development Division, Behavioral Science Unit, Federal Bureau of Investigation Academy; Director of Research (Contract) Counter-OPFOR Program, National Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center-West; and Fellow, Institute of Land Warfare, Association of the US Army. He holds a Doctorate in Political Science from Claremont Graduate University, degrees in Government, Behavioral Science, Social Science, Anthropology-Geography and History, and has undertaken hundreds of hours of counter-terrorism and counter-cartel training. Dr. Bunker has hundreds of publications including the edited works Criminal Insurgencies in Mexico and the Americas (Routledge, 2012), Narcos Over the Border (Routledge, 2011); Criminal-States and Criminal-Soldiers (Routledge, 2008), Networks, Terrorism and Global Insurgency (Routledge, 2005); and Non-State Threats and Future Wars (Routledge, 2002).
Pamela Ligouri Bunker is a past senior officer of the Counter-OPFOR Corporation and has professional experience in research and program coordination in University, Non-Government Organization (NGO), and City Government settings. She graduated from California State Polytechnic University Pomona with a BS in Anthropology/Geography and a BS in Social Science and from The Claremont Graduate University with a MA in Public Policy, with additional post-graduate work completed in comparative politics and government. Her writings have been published in academic and professional journals and in book chapter form and range from topics related to criminal states and urban terrorism through illicit organizations and dark spirituality. She is presently in the graduate program at the Center for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence at University of Saint Andrews, Scotland.
