Google's Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt served as the company's CEO from July 2001 until April 2011. During that time the company grew from $86 million in revenues in 2001 to over $29 billion in 2010. He supported the launch of such successful products as Gmail, Android, and Chrome and the acquisitions and integration of dozens of companies, including DoubleClick and YouTube. Prior to joining Google, Schmidt served as Chairman and CEO of Novell, Inc. and he has served on the board of Apple.
Jonathan Rosenberg joined Google in 2002 to oversee the design, development, and evolution of all of Google's products for consumers, advertisers, and partners. He also helped develop the company's hiring processes and was influential in setting its communications and marketing practices. Today Rosenberg is an advisor to Google CEO, Larry Page.
