The book contains contributions from sociologists, anthropologists, historians, political scientists, politicians, grassroots leaders, and urban/regional planners.
作者簡介
Xiangming Chen is founding dean and director of the Center for Urban and Global Studies and Paul Raether Distinguished Professor of Global Urban Studies and Sociology at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, as well as visiting professor in the School of Social Development and Public Policy at Fudan University in Shanghai, China. He published As Borders Bend: Transnational Spaces on the Pacific Rim (Rowman & Littlefield, 2005). His articles have appeared in a large number of urban studies and social science journals.
Nick Bacon is currently the research associate in Urban Studies at the Center for Urban and Global Studies, a Ph.D. candidate in Cultural Anthropology at the CUNY Graduate Center, and a graduate teaching fellow at Lehman College, where he teaches courses in anthropology and urban studies.
