作者簡介
VIRGINIA BERRIDGE is Professor of History at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and Director of the Centre for History in Public Health, UK. She has published widely on post 1945 health policy and on public health, focussing on drugs, alcohol and tobacco and on the relationship between evidence and policy.
MARTIN GORSKY is Senior Lecturer in History at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK. His research interests lie in the history of public health and health services. Among his current research projects are studies of management of the National Health Service, and his most recent book was a study of hospital contributory schemes.
