Samuel de Champlain — explorer, cartographer, administrator and diplomat to the Native American peoples he encountered — made twelve voyages to North America between 1603 and 1633. 作者簡介
Gayle K. Brunelle (Ph.D. Emory University) is a professor of history at California State University, Fullerton, where she specializes in Early Modern Europe and the Atlantic World. She is co-author of Murder in the Metro: Laetitia Toureaux and the Cagoule in 1930s France, (2010) author of The New World Merchants of Rouen, 1559-1630 and, has written numerous articles and book chapters.
