Compiled by a recent curator of the Oceania exhibits in the Tropenmuseum, the book focuses on the main pieces in the collection, which is comprised mainly of artifacts from the Netherlands' colonial past in New Guinea, and largely ignores the minor side exhibits. 作者簡介
David van Duuren is an anthropologist. He worked at the Tropenmuseum from 1970 to 2010, most recently as the curator for the Oceania and historical collections.
