Our motivation for establishing this series is based on one of RFF's core philosophies: disseminating the findings from sound, objective research on the costs, benefits, and other effects of public policies in order to promote better policymaking

Founded in 1952, RFF pioneered the application of economics as a tool for developing more effective policy about the use and conservation of natural resources.
