作者簡介

Dr. Joan Marques is a management faculty member and Director of the BBA Program at Woodbury University’s School of Business in Burbank, California. She is also co-founder of the Business Renaissance Institute, BRI, and the Academy of Spirituality and Professional Excellence, ASPEX, and is regularly involved in interactions with management scholars and practitioners through the multiple workshops she co-organizes, and the 4 scholarly journals she publishes. Joan has authored, co-authored and co-edited 8 books prior to this work, among which, “Joy at Work, Work at Joy: Living and Working Mindfully Every Day” (Personhood Press, 2010), “The Workplace and Spirituality: New Perspectives on research and Practice" (Skylight Paths, 2009), “The Awakened leader,” and “Spirituality in the Workplace” (Personhood Press, 2007). Dr. Marques has published her research findings on workplace spirituality and leadership in a wide variety of scholarly journals as well as in popular sources.

Dr. Satinder Dhiman is Professor of Management, Associate Dean, and Director of the MBA Program at Woodbury University’s School of Business in Burbank, California. He has co-authored various textbooks of accounting and management, most recently, “The Workplace and Spirituality: New Perspectives on research and Practice" (Skylight Paths, 2009), and "Spirituality in the Workplace: What it Means; Why it Matters; How to Make it Work for You" (Personhood Press, 2007). He is co-founder of the Business Renaissance Institute, BRI, and the Academy for Spirituality and Professional Excellence, ASPEX, and co-organizes workshops for workforce members, while he also interacts on a frequent basis with scholars through the 4 scholarly journals he co-edits. He has completed advanced executive leadership programs at Harvard, Stanford, and Wharton. Dr. Dhiman has won several awards, including ACBSP’s 2004 International Teaching Excellence Award and Steve Allen Award for educational excellence in 2006.

Dr. Jerry Biberman is Professor of Management at the University of Scranton. For twelve years he served as Chair of the Management/Marketing Department at this university. He writes, teaches, consults, speaks, and conducts workshops in the areas of work and spirituality, workplace diversity, and organization transformation. During the past years, he served as founding co-editor of the Journal of Management, Spirituality and Religion, and has co-edited several special editions on work and spirituality for the Journal of Organizational Change Management. Dr. Biberman is co-editor of At Work: Spirituality Matters (University of Scranton Press, 2007) and of Spirituality in Business: Theory, Practice and Future Directions (Palgrave MacMillan, 2009). Dr. Biberman was a founder and first chair of the Management, Spirituality and Religion interest group of the Academy of Management, and is Advising Director of ASPEX.
