Robin Smith, M.D., M.B.A., has acted as a senior advisor and investor to numerous biopharmaceutical companies prior to being appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Neostem, Inc., an adult stem company. Dr. Smith is the director of the Chemotherapy Foundation and the New York University Hospital as well as Co-Chair-man of the Board for the NYU Hospital for Joint diseases. Dr. Smith received her post-graduate training in surgery at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and obtained her medical degree from Yale University. She pursued a Masters Degree in business Administration at Wharton School of Business. Dr. Smith has been published extensively dealing with marketing, clinical practice and such.
