英國國家概况與文化（簡體書）

《英國國家概況與文化》以英國社會與文化為主要線索，重點介紹英國的地理環境、政體、文化教育、宗教信仰、商務經濟、社會福利、習俗與婚姻、傳媒、藝術、交通運輸、旅遊及娛樂等方面內容，所選資料主要出自近年國外出版物、官方網站及一些重要的參考文獻。
全書共分為十二章，每章包含Text 1和Text 2兩節內容，Text 1為主體信息文章，Text 為相關知識性文章。《英國國家概況與文化》內容新穎、知識豐富、圖文並茂。編者旨在突破傳統教材的編寫模式。突出語言與文化知識面，使讀者能夠對知識性文化和交際性文化在社會和語言中的關係進行多方位和多層次的學習和研究。
《英國國家概況與文化》面向非外語院校的普通理工科本科院校、綜合類院校以及師範類院校的英語專業學生．同時可供英語學習者自學使用，也能為英國社會與文化研究者提供內容豐富、翔實的研究資料。另外，還能為出國留學及工作人員提供一本理想的案頭參考書。
《英國國家概況與文化》編寫工作由黃建華和蔣戴麗共同完成。白紅星和黃婷婷參與了部分章節編寫、文字輸入和審校工作。英國外籍教師Ajan Sparks博士、加拿大外籍教師Bonnie Wule和澳大利亞外籍教師Stacy Meetdng審閱了《英國國家概況與文化》，廣西大學外國語學院的同行對《英國國家概況與文化》提出了許多寶貴的建議、作者特此表示衷心的感謝。
