《工學結合新思維高職高專航海技術類十二五規劃教材?郵輪實用英語》是筆者在航海技術類高等職業教育改革中的一種深度探索,其宗旨是引導學生在以郵輪服務工作過程為載體,按照國際郵輪的對客服務核心崗位,即郵輪餐廳服務、郵輪酒吧服務、郵輪事務與客房服務、郵輪廚房操作、船上康樂服務、船舶基礎知識及海上安全應急等崗位上核心能力需要,將教學內容整合為6個工作模塊。在每個工作模塊之內,則依據相應崗位的服務職責、關鍵環節、操作流程與操作技能安排5-11個教學與訓練單元,每個單元的內容都精心設計了服務情境,便于教師利用工作情境提供的條件充分調動學生的學習與實踐興趣,以英語為工具,模擬主動對客服務、解答客人問題、應對突發情況、記錄工作日志等工作過程,有利于學生在教師的引領下逐個環節地掌握國際郵輪服務與管理的基本知識和崗位操作技能。
