英文版紡絲原理是中文版紡絲原理的姐妹書，是為適應高等教育對專業課“雙語”教學的需要。
本書的作者在美國北卡羅萊納州立大學紡織學院學習和工作時，參考了美國、英國、德國、印度等有關書籍，加之自己的教學積累，綜合編寫而成。
