從事兒童美語教育已近10年時間,真的覺得現在的孩子的英語學習環境比起我們那年代幸福好多;唱唱跳跳遊戲中學習,使用的是自然發音對於單字的累積能力也有很大幫助.但對孩子的英語教育如要能有事半功倍的效果,除了學校.補習班,家中有沒有一個互動的學習環境也是一大重點,在這本書裡,我想要給讀者的你不只是如何和孩子使用英語互動,所有的單元也都放進教育媽媽爸爸練習英語的內容,讓家長也能一起再學習英語.我們這代學習英文大多是在國中第一次接觸,在還不知道什麼是英文的時候,先被塞了26個字母,摸不著頭緒時接踵而來的是KK音標.....時態.造句.文法.作文,完全不符合語言學習的邏輯,於是很多人都和我一樣在求學時代放棄了英語.周遭還有很多朋友目前仍是對英語是沒轍的;如果沒有工作上或生活裡的使用英文壓力時,對於英文總是有想要進步卻又卻步的心態.書櫃裡總會添進某日在書店裡立志要學好英語的書籍,但書總是供在那~~~面對使用英文時,腦裡總是缺一個單字,也無法說出完整句子,這複雜的無力情緒真的很令人受挫.

我有一個孩子,一個很可愛的孩子;有了孩子後我深刻體會了為母者強這句話,我不擅於家務更別說煮飯,但為了寶貝,因為責任有了壓力,所以我必須去做好母親的工作,因為愛孩子,所以我能盡自己能力做到最好.
對於從事教育的我有了這念頭,如果爸爸媽媽對於孩子的英文學習,能把自己定位是英文老師,基於責任會有壓力進而也會要求自己,如有一本書,不只能教導父母也能與孩子一起共讀,也讓父母再一次學習,用最簡單的生活內容來學習,重頭學習自然發音法,單字由簡單的開始認識,進而開始使用句子;當然書中的活動與情境單元都可以與你同班同學的孩子一起練習,語言的學習就該如此.
