Marcia Meier?is an?award-winning journalist and writer and?the owner and director of the Santa Barbara Writers Conference. She is the author of Santa Barbara: Paradise on the Pacific?and?a former editor of the Santa Barbara News-Press. Her work has appeared in the Arizona Republic, Central Coast Magazine, Huffington Post, Los Angeles Times, Seattle Times, and Santa Barbara Magazine. She lives in Santa Barbara, California.
