作者簡介

Dr. Fredrick Capaldi has been a practicing individual and family therapist for 35 years, specializing in working with children, adolescents and couples. He was the former Director of the Tustin Psychology Center, developing a team of ten human service professionals who worked extensively with childhood disorders, parenting and learning disabilities. Dr. Capaldi was a former adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychology at Irvine Valley College, and Adjunct Assistant Graduate Professor at Pepperdine University in their Marriage, Family and Child counseling program.In 1993, Dr. Capaldi founded Outreach Concern, Inc. and now serves as President/CEO. Outreach Concern is a non-profit, school-based, pupil personnel agency that provides counseling and support services to over 500,000 children, adolescents and families in 150 elementary, middle, and high schools throughout Southern California. Dr. Capaldi has been responsible for the development and clinical direction of this organization, as well as its management and creation of a yearly volunteer staff of 250 college interns, supporting a relationship with undergraduate, graduate and doctorial programs throughout Southern California.Dr. Capaldi is recognized as a leading authority in divorce and blended families and is the author of Stepfamilies, a Cooperative Responsibility.
