Restaurateur ANDREW TARLOW is widely recognized for pioneering the artisanal food movement in Brooklyn with his collection of acclaimed restaurants, including Diner, Marlow & Sons, and Roman, which focus on sustainable, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Most recently, Andrew and his partners opened the Wythe Hotel and its ground floor restaurant Reynard in a turn-of-the century factory building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Andrew is also the founder and publisher ofDiner Journal, a quarterly magazine with original art, literature, and recipes, which is distributed in his restaurants and select bookstores throughout the world. Tarlow grew up in New York and began his career as a painter and a bartender at the Odeon. He now lives in Williamsburg with his wife, designer Kate Huling, and their four children. ANNA DUNN is the Editor In Chief ofDiner Journal since its inception, and a bartender at Diner and Achilles Heel for almost as long. She co-authored the Saltie Cookbook with Caroline Fidanza, Elizabeth Schula and Rebecca Collerton and is hard at work on her first crime fiction novel.
