This is a very boy-friendly book, with its main focus on racing spaceships. But really it's for everyone, and Oopsy, the pink alien, figures prominently in the story. Throughout Q Pootle 5, the characters make mistakes, but they work constructively together to solve their problems. The setting is on another planet, but the feel is incredibly warm and folksy and safe. The animated series has been sold to a number of international broadcasters (Australia, European markets), with more on the way.
