建築工程專業英語（簡體書）

《建筑工程專業英語》是高等職業技術院校建筑工程相關專業的專業英語教材。《建筑工程專業英語》的任務是使學生能夠在學習了普通英語和建筑工程專業課的基礎上，培養學生借助工具書閱讀和翻譯建筑工程專業英語文章的能力，掌握必備的建筑工程專業英語詞匯及術語，為今後在學習和工作中獲取專業信息、掌握學科發展動態、參加國際性學術交流等奠定良好的基礎。
《建筑工程專業英語》以培養學生的專業英語閱讀能力為主要目標，共10個單元，每個單元都有一個主題，內容涉及土木工程師、建筑工程概論、建筑構造、建筑材料、施工測量、建筑設計、建筑結構、建筑設備、建筑施工管理和建筑節能。
《建筑工程專業英語》可供高職高專院校建筑工程相關專業的學生使用，也可作為具備一定英語基礎的工程技術人員及自學者的參考書。

A civil engineer's duties on a project vary depending on the particular discipline. If you are a geotechnical or environmental engineer, a lot of your work may be done outside, researching a project site's landscape or soil alongside a surveyor. If you are a construction engineer, you might work both outside trouble shooting construction problems and inside writing plan specifications and contracts. For urban projects, part of your duties might include meeting with city administrators todiscuss certain factors such as drainage codes, zoning regulations, pollution control laws, and community consensus results.
As a civil engineer in any discipline, you must be both practical and creative. You must possess practical knowledge about scientific and mathematic principles toward new design solutions. You must also have good communication skills, as the construction of large-scale projects depends upon the collaboration of many different people. You must also be good with details,deadlines, and multitasking in order to make sure that the different facets of a design plan will work together.
