Marcel Proust was a French novelist and critic best remembered for his seven-volume epic A la recherche du temps perdu (In Search of Lost Time).
John Ruskin was an English artist, critic and social commentator. He was the first Slade Professor of Fine Art at Oxford University and the author of over 25o works on a range of subjects.
