A fisherwoman who is floating along in her boat down a river falls asleep and starts dreaming after reading the story of Ying-Ying Cui and Ya-Xian Li. In her dream, Ying-Ying Cui and Ya-Xian Li get caught up in an argument to the point that even their maids join in and begin to exchange harsh words. Upon awakening, the fisherwoman takes to wondering about all this, but she soon falls asleep again and dreams another dream. This time she dreams about Wen-Ji passing by the tomb of Zhao-Jun on her way back to the Han territory after having been stranded in the Xiung-Nu region for a long time. Out of compassion, Wen-Ji pays homage to Zhao-Jun and the two engage in a conversation. These two beautiful women of different eras both encountered hardships in their lives. Now they will share with us their private thoughts about their fates……
