觸診是藉由手觸摸患者的身體，以判斷、評估身體的狀況，因此對於人體的正常機能及解剖位置必須有充分的理解。本書內容在講述下肢以及軀幹的觸診方式，分為三大部分，將人體下肢以及軀幹重要的骨骼、肌肉、韌帶都逐一的做詳細解說。書中詳細記載在實際操作觸診時，該如何找出各部位之正確位置的方法。不同的動作，所牽動的肌肉各有不同，即使是位於身體內側的深層肌肉，只要方法對了也有辦法探觸……。此外亦介紹下肢與軀幹在解剖學上特徵，以及臨床上常見的疾病，讓讀者的專業知識更為全面。
