Writing this book helped me cope with the grief and indescribable pain that came with losing my grandma. Writing this book was a form of therapy for me and it helped me find some peace amongst all the pain and suffering I had been feeling. I had no intentions initially of writing a book, I started to write down my memories that I shared with my grandma because all I had left was our memories and I was scared to forget them; I didn't want to ever forget. As these notes grew, what started off as a journal and a way of coping turned into pages of a book. I made sure that every single day after she passed I made additions to this book. There were many days I would be in tears as I recollected my beautiful memories of Grandma, but writing down all the wonderful memories to be shared in this book brought me some tranquillity. I would reminisce and relive all the amazing memories we shared and it would bring me so much joy and happiness. I wanted Grandma's love to be shared to the world and I wanted the world to know Grandma's love. I wanted the world to know how much of a charismatic, unapologetic, opinionated and astounding woman my grandma was and I want to preserve my grandma's legacy. Therefore I made the decision to self publish this book in the memory of my grandma, the most extraordinary and strongest woman I have ever known.
