Growing familiar with one another, Liam and Talia began to discover their past is more intertwined than they remember. The storm Liam has dubbed, Wrath of the Mother, transforms the island into a never dry carnage of trees and vegetation. The cave is no longer a safe place, and the looming conflict becomes more imminent. Surviving and remembering are no longer peaceful options as the storm ravaged island becomes a battleground.Tired, injured, and armed with a hammer, Liam moves into action. The fight is not a fair one and he is vastly outnumbered. Unable to rely on Talia's help, he forgets the plan and moves forward violently. The enemy is seemingly unending. Escape is made impossible. Peace is out of reach. Darkness grips Liam and the enemy discovers why he was chosen to travel to their island. Sacrifices to the devil are made to no avail. It becomes clear to all that the island will not be shared.Talia is left to wonder through the fog in search of echoes. As she finds them her memories began to form an unbelievable story. A story of how they came to be on this island. The past she remembers seems to contrast against the echoes that are reaching Liam. She is forced to decide whether to reveal her memories or withhold the unbelievable truth. As Liam reveals his own memories, Talia fears his suspicions will hinder their survival.
