本輯刊發考古發掘和調查簡報5篇，公佈了湖南安鄉縣庹家崗遺址、湖北隨州市張家寨遺址、湖北老河口市上寨遺址、貴州納雍縣大墳山石板墓群及絲綢之路南亞廊道雲南西南路段的田野考古調查新資料；收錄論文8篇，分別對滇西地區新石器文化、成都寶墩遺址劉林盤地點的古河道沉積物及環境、雲貴地區出土的漢代建築明器、犍陀羅錫克裡塔及其浮雕板的原始次第、慶陽北石窟寺第165窟“騎象菩薩”題材、文字瓦所見北朝隋唐時代造瓦手工業的工人身份變遷、紀年有字瓦所見南詔城址的修築沿革、衛星遙感所見成都平原土地利用類型對遺址的影響等問題進行了探討。收錄譯文1篇，涉及緬甸古代硬材質石珠與印章的內容。同時刊發了“成都平原先秦聚落變遷與水資源變化學術沙龍”會議紀要1篇。
