Paul Vermette has served as a teacher and supervisor of Social Studies in public and parochial schools in New York and New Jersey and has been a Professor of Education at Niagara University since 1985. Vermette has been a highly visible advocate for teacher professional growth, conducting hundreds workshops and serving as a consultant on both sides of the US-Canadian border, at both the Secondary and Higher Ed levels. Vermette has served in various capacities for external agencies and organizations and most recently served as a member of the Board of NYACTE.

Cynthia Kline is Program Manager for PLS3rd Learning, an educational firm delivering top-quality professional development in both domestic and international K-12 settings. She has presented throughout New York and internationally in Canada and Italy on a variety of topics in education. She has also been deeply involved in the activities of the Institute for Learning-Centered Education, The NYS Middle School Association, the WNY Character Council and the Great Lakes Association for Cooperation in Education where she served on various boards during her tenure.
