Caleb Bradham's original pharmacy, where Pepsi-Cola originated, is depicted along with the location today, where a store exists that is dedicated to the drink's origin. Also illustrated are many of the town's most beloved landmarks and historic homes, all of which retain an old-fashioned flair that characterizes New Bern. In addition, the book offers the beautiful Tryon Palace during its restoration as well as today.
