Cultural Governance and the European Union ― Protecting and Promoting Cultural Diversity in Europe

Evangelia Psychogiopoulou is a lawyer and Marie Curie IEF fellow at the Department of International and European Law, Maastricht University, The Netherlands. She also serves as legal officer at the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports, Greece. Her research focuses on European Union cultural and media policies and human rights protection. Her previous publications include Understanding Media Policies: A European Perspective (2012), and Media Policies Revisited: The Challenge for Media Freedom and Independence (2014).
