Ruurd R. Nauta, Ph.D. (1995) in Classics, Leiden University, is Professor of Latin at Groningen University. He is author of Poetry for Patrons. Literary Communication in the Age of Domitian (Brill, 2002) and co-editor of Flavian Poetry (Brill, 2005).Annette Harder, Ph.D. (1985) in Classics, Groningen University, is Professor of Ancient Greek at Groningen University. She is preparing a commentary on Callimachus’ Aetia for Oxford University Press and is editor of the series Hellenistica Groningana (Leuven).
