英語語音教程（簡體書）

語言的本質就是一種交流工具，有聲是語言的第一屬性，語音是傳遞意思的外在形式。語音的正確與否，直接關係著意思能否得以正確表達，而相對於文字而言，語音又有著無形化、短暫化、易失化等特性，這就要求我們在學說一種語言時，一定要準確把握它的語音。
《英語語音教程》分為兩大部分。第一部分是英語語音學習最基本的內容：音素，包括元音和輔音的學習，重點學習48個音素的發音以及重音、弱讀式、強讀式、節奏、停頓和語調等。主要通過語音理論與實例分析相結合的方式，系統學習交際狀態下的英語語音基本理論和基本知識。第二部分語音模仿，精選了包括短文、歌曲、新聞、電影和名劇經典片斷等內容、形式多樣且具有實際操作意義的英語語言材料，供學習者模仿與背誦。
《英語語音教程》強調在具體的情境中進行自覺、充分的語言實踐，強調對節奏、語調與語流的把握應從聽人手，以達於說，並給出大量實用的模仿材料，以解決過去語音教學中重理論講解、輕語音實訓的問題。多年的語音教學實踐表明，學唱英語歌曲是學習者掌握英語發音、節奏、元音的長度、弱讀式、失爆和連讀等語音技能的有效方法；背誦短文則能將學習者的語音技能提升到較高的水平；排練劇本精彩片段則是提高學習者英語語音綜合技能和英語水平的最佳教學方法，也是提升跨文化口語交際水平的重要學習方法。在這種參與一分享式的語言環境中學習語音會達到事半功倍的效果。為了便於模仿，精選材料中所出現的連讀、省略、變音以及升調、降調的地方均用相應符號標出。此外，所選材料對英語專業四級的詞匯訓練、寫作、聽力等都有一定的幫助。．

《英語語音教程》的編寫者長期身處地方本科院校英語語音教學的一線課堂，深感地方本科院校英語專業學生的語音基礎，較之于重點本科院校學生要薄弱得多。盡管學生能非常努力地改進發音，但常因積已成習，按照傳統的語音教學方法和學習方法，收效甚微。面對這一狀況，編寫者在語音教學實踐中，在新生語音強化訓練、英語模仿背誦等方面進行了長期的探索，積累了一定的經驗，也收到了不錯的效果。每當看到或聽到學生發音困難時，也總想盡快將多年積累的知識和經驗寫出來，推廣出去，從而擴大受益面。這也是編寫此書的另一個出發點。
