Biederman Entertainment & Media Law Institute).

Pierson is Executive Vice President of Legal and Business Affairs and General Counsel of Warner/Chappell Music, Inc., Los Angeles, Calif., Adjunct Professor of Law at Southwestern University School of Law and past Chair of the American Bar Association Forum on the Entertainment and Sports Industries.

He is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Emory University School of Law teaching Entertainment Law. InJennings v. The Black Crowes, a case based upon a pie-chart agreement between a band and their tour manager, he was lead counsel for the plaintiff in the first music industry related trial televised live on Court-TV.
