Business Venture is a speaking and listening course in American and International English. It is especially designed for people who may have studied some English but who need to improve their fluency. The course consists of twelve units that aim to prepare learners for a wide range of business situations, such as dealing with clients, entertaining, telephoning, fixing appointments, and making plans. The emphasis is on presenting English as a means of international communication in business settings.
The new Business Venture 1 with practice for the TOEIC test contains carefully graded language practice, gently paced listening activities, and the Culture Files. It also includes four practice sections for the TOEIC test, which recycle language from the main units, and present introductory test practice material in the format of the TOEIC test and in the context of its key topic areas. A Student CD comes with this Student Book and contains the audio program for the four test practice sections.
