作者簡介

Marc Effron is the founder and President of the Talent Strategy Group, where he leads the firm's global consulting, education, executive search, and publishing businesses. He founded and publishes Talent Quarterly magazine and is the author of the Harvard Business Review Press book 8 Steps to High Performance. Effron's signature approach to talent management, as espoused in his books and his consulting, is science- and evidence-based simplicity, accountability, and transparency.

Prior to forming the Talent Strategy Group, Marc served as VP, Talent Management for Avon Products and led Global Leadership Consulting Practice for Aon Hewitt. He was also SVP, Leadership Development for Bank of America and a Congressional Staff Assistant.

Marc is a sought-after speaker on talent management and leadership topics by both corporations and conferences. He is widely quoted on talent issues in the business media and has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Influencers in HR.

Marc founded and leads the New Talent Management Network, a non-profit HR networking and research organization that is now the world's largest talent management organization with more than 3,000 members.

Miriam Ort is an HR leader, author, and speaker who has held positions in human resources and talent management in the HR organizations of Fortune 500 companies. She is currently SVP HR at Avis Budget Group, a leading global provider of vehicle rental services through a portfolio of brands including Avis, Zipcar, and Budget. Previously, Miriam spent nearly a decade in executive HR roles at PepsiCo, including leading HR for their global operations across 100 emerging and developed countries. Prior to PepsiCo, Miriam served as head of Talent Management for Avon Products, North America, with responsibility for talent strategy and planning, leadership development, and performance management across the business. She also held several enterprise talent management roles developing processes and programs for Avon's 40,000 employees globally.
