商品簡介

The Earth Is Dancing was the latest work by Mo-Jen Wang after his migration from Taiwan to the United States. After 24 years of inner thinking and reflection, the book was organized in present actions and past experiences intertwined through streams of consciousness. Besides the author’s own experiences for almost a lifetime, he eventually proposed an ultimate ideal and hope of “the Whole World United as One.” The publication of The Earth Is Dancing in Taiwan is to honor such an author not only in Literary World in Chinese but also up on the stage of the World Literature.

作者簡介

Mo-Jen Wang
Mo-Jen Wang, a writer migrated from Mainland China, wrote consistently while conducting his career as a journalist from 1950s to 1980s. He wrote from a deeply sincere humanist concern to reveal the realistic hardship and life struggle of people from the sub-structure of society. He mainly depicted the evil and ugliness as well as goodness and beauty of real world, and brought out the possibility of the bright side in humanity hidden beneath the lifeless reality. Unlike other writers from Mainland China at that time who contributed mostly to official literary organizations, he cared not the mainstream Modernist writing skills but insisted to write out of his ideal of “real humanist concern.”
