Louise Borden is the author of more than a dozen books for young readers, including Fly High!, written with Mary Kay Kroeger, which focuses on another legend in the field of aviation, Bessie Coleman. In addition to writing, Ms. Borden speaks frequently to children about the writing process. She lives in Terrace Park, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati, not far from Wilbur and Orville Wright's hometown of Dayton.
